Highest Qualification: Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism, Rhodes University
Mr. Timm’s key responsibility in his position as Acting Head is to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Presidential Hotline, the Frontline Service Delivery Monitoring and Citizen-Based Monitoring programmes at DPME. Other responsibilities include consultation, research, design for Citizen-Based Monitoring including consultation and partnership building and managing the development and updating of the CBM framework and implementation plan.
His previous position as Manager of Special Projects at The Mvula Trust entailed developing new areas of work and influence for The Mvula Trust in areas of water, sanitation and livelihoods as well as developing and implementing a strategy for Mvula to work in informal settlements.
Mr. Timm would value the opportunity to learn and share through a structure programme such as the MPhil and is looking forward to engaging with other participants.
