Idris Ademuyiwa is a research fellow at the Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa in Abuja. He obtained a Bachelor and a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Ademuyiwa’s research experience cuts across public policy institutions, academia and economic think tanks. Previously, he worked with the National Planning Commission, Abuja, and the Centre for Econometrics and Allied Research at the University of Ibadan. Ademuyiwa is passionate about translating quality research into sound policy and participates actively in conferences on the subject. His primary areas of research interest include international trade and regional integration, development economics and programme impact evaluation. Ademuyiwa has published in peer-reviewed journals and contributed some chapters to books in his areas of research.
